Intro to Praise Band
Hello! I am looking forward to teaching you and seeing you grow in your skills and love of music. This class is for all beginning/intermediate musicians to learn and grow in their preferred instrument and musicianship as well as the skills needed to play/sing in a group.
Students will work as a team, listen intentionally, gain confidence playing/singing for others, learn performance etiquette, and consider the meaning of worship and worship
leadership.

Hello! I’m Naomi Zion, and I’m thrilled to begin another year teaching music at Vector! My passion lies in inspiring students' musical creativity and skill development, fostering a collaborative environment, and above all cultivating a spirit of worship to the Lord through music. Having dedicated myself to God at a young age, my faith is integral both to my teaching and my life overall. Being raised in a household that prioritized musical worship drove me to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with an Emphasis in Choral Voice from Grand Canyon University and a Standard Professional Arts Ed, PreK-12 Music certificate from the Arizona Department of Education. Since receiving my degree, I have had diverse teaching experiences spanning K-5 general music, 4th-5th grade ukulele class, 6th-12th grade praise band, and private lessons for various instruments. My hope for this school year is to continue to nurture a lifelong love for music in the students at Vector!
